Girardet Wines
Our wines are handcrafted to perfection using the perfect marriage of Old-World techniques and the latest modern technology.
At Girardet, we firmly believe that great wine starts in the vineyard, therefore all of our vines are hand-harvested and hand-pruned. The vines are also watered by hand for the first two years, and then they are dry-farmed to stress the vine and produce the most flavorful grapes possible.
Red Wines
14 Vines
Our secret, old family recipe using 14 different grapes. This medium-bodied, Rhone-style blend is incredibly versatile. Formerly known as the Grand Rouge.
Blend #71
This Super-Tuscan style wine is a tribute to the year 1971, when Philippe and Bonnie Girardet first planted grapevines on our 50-acre estate, in the Umpqua Valley.
Baco Noir
Aromas of juicy blackberries and dark roasted coffee. Flavors of plum and blueberry, finishing with toasted vanilla and chocolate. A very unique and intriguing varietal, for most it is love at first sip!
Cabernet Sauvignon
This wine is made from the smallest, most intensely flavored grapes in our vineyard.
Pinot Noir Barrel Select
Spicy, rose petal aroma. Dark cherry flavors and warm toasted vanilla join with hints of cinnamon and nutmeg which linger in the soft, velvet finish.
Syrah
This wine has a dense, deep garnet color and shows beautiful aromas of fresh cracked pepper and ripe red cherries.
Tempranillo
Grown from bush vines, flavors of prunes, cassis leather and tobacco. A limited production.
Touchdown Red
A red blend and a tribute to our Winemaker and pilot, Marc Girardet, and the success of his emergency freeway landing on I-5 in July of 2013.
White Wines
Cayuga
The West Coast’s first and only Cayuga! This wine has a fresh, floral taste and balanced mouth feel.
Riesling
This wine opens with light floral aromas and finishes with minerals and dry, bright acidity.
Seyval Blanc
Elements of pineapple linger in the bright, zesty finish. With a dry mouthfeel and excellent acidity, this wine will pair well with spicier foods or can be enjoyed as an aperitif.
Pinot Gris
This wine opens with delicate aromas of lemon meringue and green apple, with a hint of pear.
